About Telangana Youth Journalists Federation

Regd. No. 301/2023 — A statewide body of reporters, photojournalists, and digital media professionals in Telangana.

Our Mission

To strengthen ethical journalism, protect press freedom, and improve the welfare and professional skills of young media workers across Telangana.

Objectives

  • Training on reporting, media law, safety, and digital skills.
  • Member welfare, grievance support, and legal/press accreditation help.
  • District networks for collaboration and community service.
  • Promote responsible, people-centric journalism.

Structure

  • State Executive leading policy, training, and programmes.
  • District Units in all 33 districts coordinating local initiatives.

Membership

Eligibility: Active journalists (print, TV, digital/online, photo/video) working in Telangana.

  1. Submit the online application with photo & ID proof.
  2. Verification by the District/State team.
  3. Approval with Registration Number and digital ID Card (QR).

Code of Ethics

Members uphold accuracy, fairness, and sensitivity; avoid conflicts of interest; respect privacy; and never misuse the TYJF ID for non-journalistic activities.

Violations may lead to suspension or cancellation of membership as per bylaws.
